Hi, 

I'm Talia Dagan, I’m 21 years old. 

Born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. 

The eldest among four siblings, and as of 2023 married to my highschool sweetheart, ETL Dagan.

 

My artistic journey began early, thanks to my parents, who saw the value of art in education and enrolled my little brother and me in weekly art lessons. This initial exposure was supplemented by summer art camps at the Israel Museum, marking the beginning of a lifelong passion for art.

From the age of five, I embarked on a formative and enriching exploration of the art world. These early years were crucial in developing my understanding and appreciation of art. Starting with simple pencil sketches, I gradually expanded my repertoire to include chalk, watercolors, and eventually, oil paints. Beyond the techniques, I learned to appreciate the nuances of light and shadow, texture, and other fundamental art concepts that laid the groundwork for my creative path.

Graduating from high school in 2018 with a major in art, I was exposed to both the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. The theoretical studies provided a technical perspective on art, teaching me to analyze artworks, compose essays, and conduct research. The practical side allowed me to express my creativity through various media, including Photoshop, photography, and oil painting, under guided themes and concepts.

In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic revealed an unmet need for affordable wedding dresses, inspiring me to launch my own wedding wear business. What started as a hobby soon evolved into a full-fledged enterprise, enhancing my skills in customer service, design customization with seamstresses, and supplier management to offer a wide range of dress styles.

Sustainability in fashion is a core value of mine, reflected in my personal life and advocacy on social media. I champion the reuse of previously owned clothes, aiming to reduce environmental impact and counter the negative effects of consumerism on our planet and mental health.

Looking forward, I dream of collaborating with leading brands such as Oscar de la Renta, Loewe, Coach, Ralph Lauren, and ELIE SAAB, whose creativity, elegance, and innovation align with my fashion vision.

I eagerly await the day I become an integral part of the fashion industry, contributing my unique blend of artistry and environmental consciousness.
